Exciting News!

First of all, CONGRATS to my brother in law, Firas and his fiance,Rita on their engagement. I am so happy for them both! I've attached a cute picture of them to this post. I guess this must have been the moment she decided to stay in Jordan at the last minute. LOL I can't say I blame her, it is a beautiful place and the people are just as beautiful.

The second part of my good news is that Seif is taking me to NYC for my birthday this year. I am so excited! We are leaving December 18 and heading to NYC and from there going to Istanbul Turkey and Jordan to spend the holidays with my in laws. It's going to be extra fun because pretty much the whole family will be there. It will definitely be different being away from my own family at Christmas, but I am heading home for Thanksgiving and couldn't be more grateful. Sometimes I just feel so blessed. My family is awesome, my in laws are awesome, and dang it, my hubby is awesome! I love you Seif, thank you so much for making my dreams come true. Not just because of where you take me, but for who you are.

I'm back, but only cuz I'm bored.

Wow, how long has it been? I have not had the energy to write on here since well...the last time I wrote on here. I've been really tired for a long time and could never figure out what the problem was. I went to so many doctors and none of them were able to find what was wrong with me. Because I know myself better than anyone, I knew something was off, so I kept going back. Finally, I found a Dr. that ran a simple blood test, and surprise! I have thyroid problems. On the bright side, I am on medication and hopefully, in time it will take care of the fatigue. Right now though, all I can say is WOW ... I have zero energy and it is killing me.

My sister in law is staying with us until December and I feel bad being so tired all the time. We have managed to have fun regardless and I have attached a few pics to this post. Other than that, I am still plugging away at school and work. Speaking of, I completely bombed a test today and am so mad at myself. On top of that, I have a presentation the day before Thanksgiving and I am scared to death. I despise public speaking! Being a Psych major I know that we tend to do better on things that we are good at when people are watching and worse at things that we aren't good at. That Psychology I tell ya, sometimes it's a curse knowing what to expect. Ha!
